…in Search For Edohen Iroghama Joe Involved in Homosexuality

Edo State Police Command is investigating the murder of a 45 years old woman, mother of three, Mrs. Margaret Edohen who was allegedly shot dead by unknown gunmen at her resident No 8, Uguola Street, Off Upper Siluko Road, Benin City, Edo State.

It was gathered that the said incidents threw the residents of Siluko road into confusion as over six gunmen masked invaded the residents of Mrs Margaret Edohen, shot her at a close range and left her in a pool of blood.

Investigation revealed that the sad incident happened on Wednesday, February 10, 2016 and she died on the spot as the killers may have been allegedly sent by aggrieved family of late Osazee Iyamu whose involvement in homosexuality with the late woman’s son Edohen Iroghama Joe led to her untimely death.

Report had it that Edohen Iroghama Joe is the eldest son of late Mrs. Margaret Edohen and was caught in the act of homosexuality with his lover Osazee Iyamu who died following injuries sustained due to the beaten he received from angry mob following the abominable act perpetuated while Edohen Iroghama Joe escaped from the custody of the police.

The lovers are students of Edo State Polytechnic and were caught in the male hostel having sex. Edohen Iroghama Joe was a student of computer science while his lover Osazee Iyamu is of the Business Administration Department.

Speaking to journalist on the murder of Margaret Edohen, Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) Edo State Command, said one Samson Chigbundu alias Biggie has been arrested in connection with the murder and has confessed to the crime, helping the police with relevant information that will lead to the arrest of other members of the killer gang.

The police said it has intensified effort to arrest other fleeing members of the gang as well as Edohen Iroghama Joe who was caught in the act of homosexuality but escaped from Police custody.

The suspect, Biggie said the gang was hired by Osazee’s family to kill Mrs. Margaret Edohen who they feel protected her son and from been arrested.

Spokes for the Iyamu family, Mr. Kingsley Iyamu said Iyamu family is a decent family and will never take the life of anybody no matter the grievances. “Biggie’s story is a lie to tarnish the image of the Iyamu family.

“We are shocked about the whole incident and will never resolved to self help through assassination. Our son Osazee Iyamu’s death was a painful loss to the family and we are yet to get over it. We hope that the police would expose his killers and make them face the law as the police have been seen to have compromised in the escape of Edohen Iroghama Joe.

“This homosexual issue happened in late 2013 and Edohen Iroghama Joe escaped from the police custody in a questionable way and up till now he has not been arrested and the Police has not given convincing statement on his escape”.
