LAGOS – The police have Declared wanted a profess Gay right activist, one Philip Eyeyemin for his allegedly involvement in gay activities and homosexualism.

According to reports , Philip Eyeyemi, who was said to have established an association of gays and lesbianism in the country was said to have organised several protects in advocate for rights of gay and lesbians in the society and call for their rights to free expression and association of gay proponents.
Mr. Eyeyemi, a self profess Gay Right Activist, was said to have started the gay association in 2010 at No. 3, Obanosa

Street, Uselu Benin City with his cohorts namely, Eddy Godwin, Amayo Colus, Robertson, Joseph Anthony Lorre and one popular Nigerian music star, Chanes Nwabueze (aka Pedre).
According to sources, Eyeyemi have continuously call on government and the society to stop demonizing gay sexuality and adherents because they deserve equal rights and freedom of expression just like any other human beings across the world.

A family source who spoke on the considion of anonymity said that the police had visited his known residents, No. 25, Adedoyin Street, Ijesha Otedo, Surulere in Lagos having earlier failed to arrest him in his Benin City family resident at No. 3, Obanosa Street, Uselu in Edo State.

“The police came here to arrest Eyeyemi and luckily for him, he was not at home and the security agents dropped an invitation letter with his wife, requesting him to present himself before the Command for interrogation and possible prosecution.

“Even the traditional rulers and the institutions are not very happy with this development. It is abomination in our land and this Philip Eyeyemi must be banished from our land to avoid bring ill luck to our land and our people”, the source said.

It would be recalled that the federal republic of Nigeria has recently signed into law, Bill prohibiting gay and lesbian activities across the country and any suspect found culpable is liable to face 14 years jail term.

As at the time of filling this report, the whereabouts of Mr. Philip Eyeyemi could not be ascertain.
Meanwhile, the Police Command has appealed to members of the public with useful information that could lead to the arrest of Philip Eyeyemi, Eddy Godwin, Amayo Colus, Robertson, Joseph Anthony Lorre and Chanes Nwabueze (aka Pedre) to report to the nearest police station for handsome reward.
