Ubiaja (Edo State) – Controversies facing the family of Ebondu of Esan south east local government area of Edo state over the disappearance of their son Stanley Ebondu.
Eye witness report had it that trouble started with the son of a former head of Ogboni confraternity leader, Stanley disappeared into the tin air unknowingly to the family, according to the report Stanley runaway from home because he refused to ascend the position of his forefathers.
The report stated that Stanley was informed by his father, that upon his death, the confraternity he belonged to will swapped his position to him Stanley, his father however died on the 6, January 2016.
Three days after the demise of their leader, the confraternity made their position’s known to the family, that upon the demised of any supreme head’s, the first and the eldest surviving son will takeover his late father’s position in the brotherhood, the members of the confraternity who visited the family stated that the rules of the brotherhood is that, that position is always being reserved in the house for the family of Ebondu.
An inside source who doesn’t want his names on print, revealed that the 22 years old young man was always seen before his father’s death leading processions of Christianity preaching the bible, such person will be difficult to convince, his refusal will smell doomed to the brotherhood, if any such person refused the rules of the brotherhood is always been cut down.
He emphasized that Stanley will not survived in the surface of earth, he must be cut down anytime soon by running away for his responsibility, he can only run, so long he is in this country, he must present himself for initiation or died.
Meanwhile the whereabouts of Stanley Ebondu as at the time of filling in this report is unknown.
