BENIN CITY A group of Muslim fanatics have invaded and attacked a catholic family in Kano metropolis,set their house ablaze, killing the head of the family as he was burnt to death in the inferno on June 14,2016.
Narrating the incident to our reporter in our Benin City office,a close family member said that Mr Omobude,was the only one at home when the attackers came.The attackers who were alleged militant members of a grand mosque in Kano state were acting on the orders of their spiritual leader,whose eldest son,Khalid was involved in same sex activities.
Khalid was discovered to be gay,and his father,a spiritual leader of grand mosque in Kano got information that one Omobude Joseph was his son’s homosexual partner.That was how the militant group was sent to kill Joseph.Unfortunately,he and other family members were not at home.His father,Mr Omobude was the only one at home and he was burnt inside his house.Khalid have been detained at the Sharia court for his abominable and forbidden homosexual crime that attracts death by stoning in the Sharia law
The source further said that Joseph left Kano for Benin City is home town after the search for him intensified on July 25,2016.It was in Benin he met his mother and brother.The mother denounced him and accused him of the death of the father because of his same sex activities.
The source also said that the Muslim fanatics trail him to his uncle house in Benin City and one of the fanatics was killed,and the Police was now involved in the matter. matter.
Joseph had to run away from Benin City as his life waa no longer safe.Joseph,whose whereabouts is unknown,has been penciled for death by the Muslim group for luring Khalid into homosexuality.
According to source,the father of Khalid,is angry at Joseph and his family members who are Christians,for the havoc and shame he(Joseph) have made him pass through for corrupting his son,Khalid.
The police have launched a manhunt for his arrest
