The Nigerian Police Force, Ebonyi Command has declared wanted one Egbe Ogobechi Prosper, Julius Ocha (Ezillo community exwhile youths leader), Ani Chukudi and Kingsley Nnadi for their various roles in the gruesome killings, arson and sundry crimes committed during Ezillo and Ezza communal crisis in Ishielu local government area of Ebonyi state.
“The suspects are prime perpetrators of the communal violence triggered by land dispute on May 10, 2008”.
This was contained in a statement endorsed by the commissioner of police, Ebonyi State Police Command CP Philip Sule Maku and made available to our correspondent in Abakaliki, the state capital.
The release explained further that the suspects who hail from Ezillo community had refused to honour several invitations of both the police command and other sister security agencies in the state.
The statement however appealed to members of the public with information that would assist in the arrest of the suspects to report to the nearest police station for a handsome reward.
