“I never expected my songs to be on radio rotational play since I released them, I must give special thanks to my family, friends and radios, Tv’s who supported me, I still can’t believe how my songs came successful like this in Africa, what have I done differently to receive this street credibility’s and media opportunities here and there?” Obaland FM radio trending artist of the moment Dezzy Lani asked.
The next rated promising Amapiano and Afrobeats acts isn’t complete in Nigeria and Ghana if the likes of “London Bridge” and “Ewurama” hit singer Dezzy Lani is not mentioned in today’s commercial music industry. Recall, Dezzy Lani song “Ewurama” rocked airwaves in Abidjan, after it was included in Ivorians Got Talent show by blessed memory of Ivorian music legend DJ Arafat, following his other popular debut song “London Bridge”, a commercial Dezzy recorded for Alomo Bitters publicity in Ghana and Gambia which brought Desmond Nosa Lawani to limelight in 2021.
