BENIN CITY – An All Progressives Congress, APC chieftain and the commissioner, representing Orhionmwwon on the board of Edo state Oil and Gas producing Areas Development Commission, Edsopadec, Hon. Osaretin Edoma has warned politicians across the state not to perpetrate any form of violence arising from the conduct of the forth coming general elections scheduled to hold on Saturday 28th March 2015 across the country.
It would be recalled that the elections that supposed to have been held across the country was earlier postponed from 14th February, due to what was regarded as deluge of insecurity in the country.
Speaking to the Nigerian observer, at his office in Benin City, yesterday, Hon. Edoma posited that politics was not a do or –die affair and that politicians should see themselves, especially the electorates as one family, irrespective of party or religious affiliations.
He maintained that politics would come and go, but relationship would remained infinite and that the electorates should vote their conscience for their right choices, just as he counselled whoever that looses to accept defeat and embrace peace.
The APC leader in Ugu ward in Orhionmwon Local Government Area of Edo state, however opined that all the APC candidates would emerge victorious in these elections especially in view of the transformation processes the state has currently witnessed in the administration of Governor Adams Aliyu Oshiomhole and Rt Hon Dr. Pius Egberamwen Odubu as deputy.
He thanked APC leaders and supporters in Orhionmwon for their understanding and assured them of his unflinching commitments to ensure rapid development in the areas of both capital and infrastructures in the locality.
