The Nigeria National League (NNL), regarded as “The most important league in the country,” has urged clubs to comply with the directives and decisions of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Players’ Status and Arbitration Committee (PSAC) as player registration continues ahead of the 2026/2027 season.
NNL Chief Operating Officer, Danlami Alanana, stressed that compliance with the committee’s decisions is mandatory, warning that affected clubs risk being denied the opportunity to register players.
“All cases of the Players’ Arbitration Committee, whose decisions have been taken and communicated to clubs, must be complied with, or the NNL will not register players of the affected clubs,” Alanana stated.
He added that where payments or settlements have been agreed upon with affected players and coaches through the NFF, evidence of compliance must be communicated to all parties, with the necessary clearance obtained from the federation.
