Food is among the basic needs of man. It is not just a major source of energy it is also what sustains our lives. We cannot survive without food. We need food for growth and nourishment. In the gospel of John 6:52-59 our Lord Jesus Christ presents himself as our real food and indeed as the only food that can sustain our lives. He told his fellow Jews, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of man and drink his blood, you have no life in you; he who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. For my flesh is food indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood abides in me, and I in him.” The body of our Lord Jesus Christ is food indeed! And His Blood is real drink. As we eat his Body and drink his blood, He sustains our lives and even restores our lives. Above all, the Body and Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ is also our heavenly food. It is the source of eternal life. That why our Lord Jesus Christ said, “This is the bread which came down from heaven, not such as the fathers ate and died; he who eats this bread will live forever.” Child of God, as you eat the Body of Christ, you will not die untimely death. You will enjoy eternal life with him and it shall be well with you in Jesus name – Amen!

Inspirational Message: We cannot survive without food. We need for nourishment and growth. Our Lord Jesus Christ is our heavenly food. He is the source of our growth and nourishment.

Prayer for Spiritual Food: Lord Jesus Christ, you revealed yourself to your fellow Jews as the Bread of Life. You are indeed the source of our growth and nourishment. Whoever eat your Body will never die! Lord, we need you more than we need material food. Feed us with your Body and Blood and may you continue to nourish us all the days of our Lord, in Jesus name – Amen!

Prophetic Message: Your enemies shall go blind
An enemy is always an enemy. An enemy will always plan evil against your life. He will be going about setting traps, looking for a way to bring you down. In ACTS 9:1-20 Saul was depicted as the enemy of the early disciples. He was going about breathing threats and murder against the disciples of the Lord. He even went to the high priest and asked him for letters to the synagogues at Damascus in order to attack the Christians. As he approached Damascus, a light from heaven flashed about him. And he fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to him, “Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?” And he said, “Who are you, Lord?” And he said, “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting… Saul arose from the ground; and when his eyes were opened, he could see nothing.” Paul became blind while he was trying to attack the innocent Christians. Child of God, your enemies are in trouble! All those who are trying to attack you will soon go blind. What happened to Saul will soon happen to your wicked enemies. They will look for you and they will never see you. The Lord will surely protect you. and it shall be well with you in Jesus name – Amen!

Christology: Jesus, the Author of Eternal Life
When Jesus told his followers the bitter truth that unless they eat his flesh and drink his blood they will not have life in them. He also told them, “No one can come to me unless it is granted him by the Father.” With these, “Many of his disciples drew back and no longer walked with him. Jesus said to the Twelve, “Will you also go away?” Simon Peter answered him, ‘’Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life; and we have believed, and have come to know, that you are the Holy One of God.” Note, our Lord Jesus Christ did not change his position because his followers abandoned him. He was not even apologetic, instead he even asked the remaining the disciples if they wants to go as well. He was hundred percent convinced of what he was saying. He had a clear vision.
Indeed, our Lord Jesus Christ is a Man with a difference. He is not just the Bread of life He is also the only One that has the words of eternal life, the Author of life, the only channel to God the Father. To him be glory and praise both now and forevermore – Amen!

Inspirational Message: When the followers of Jesus abandoned him, he did not change his direction. He remained focused. Child of God, even if the whole world abandons remain connected with God. Never you change your direction. Be focused!

Prayer for Perseverance: Heavenly Father, your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ persevered till the end. He did not allow people’s rejection to discourage him. He was focused till the end. Lord, in our own mission, we need the spirit of perseverance. We need to be focused in our own mission. We cannot achieve this without your grace. Give us the grace to remain focused all the days of our lives, through Christ our Lord – Amen!

Prophetic Message: The Lord will Restore your Life
God really used the disciples to perform so many miracles; the sick were healed and even the dead were raised to life. A typical example was the case Dorcas in ACTS 9:31-42, She was a woman full of good works and acts of charity. She fell sick and died; hearing that Peter was there, the disciples sent two men to him entreating him, “Please come to us without delay.” So Peter rose and went with them… He knelt down and prayed; then turning to the body he said, “Tabitha, rise.”And she opened her eyes, and when she saw Peter she sat up. And he gave her his hand and lifted her up. Then calling the saints and widows he presented her alive. And it became known throughout all Joppa, and many believed in the Lord.” That was how God used Peter to cancel the burial. Child of God, your own burial is cancelled. You will not die again. The Lord will surely restore your life and it shall be well with you in Jesus name – Amen!

Christology: Jesus, the Good Shepherd
A shepherd is someone who takes care of sheep and cattle. He spends most of his time watching over the sheep and cattle, to ensure that they are safe. He provides for their needs. Psalm 23 presents God as our Shepherd. In the New Testament our Lord Jesus Christ introduced himself as the Good Shepherd. In the gospel of JOHN 10:11-18 He told his followers, “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. He who is a hireling and not a shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, sees the wolf coming and leaves the sheep and flees; and the wolf snatches them and scatters them. He flees because he is a hireling and cares nothing for the sheep. I am the good shepherd; I know my own and my own know me.” From this passage we can deduce the following: 1) As the Good Shepherd Jesus laid down his life for us 2). Our Lord Jesus Christ is a caring Shepherd. He does not abandon his flock even in danger. 3). He knows each and everyone of us by name. 4) He is there for us. 5) He protects and guides us. With him we are secured. And as Psalm 23 declares, With Jesus our Shepherd, we shall dwell in God’s presence forever and ever – Amen!

Inspiration Message: The Quality of a good shepherd includes: 1.Sacrifice (the good shepherd lay down his life for the sheep) 2. Knowledge of the sheep (the good Shepherd knows his sheep. 3. The good shepherd gathers the sheep into on sheepfold.

Prayer for Shepherd and bishops: Lord Jesus Christ, you are indeed the Good Shepherd. You loved your sheep so much that you laid down your life for your sheep. Lord, we have so many shepherds in our world today, those whom you have entrusted the care of our souls. Thank you for our Bishops! Lord, we need shepherds like you who are willing to lay down their lives for their flock. We need shepherds like you who know their sheep; those who are available and accessible. Grant this through Christ our Lord – Amen!

Prophetic Message: Your Rejection will lead to your promotion
Our Lord Jesus Christ was the most rejected man on earth. In Acts 4:8-12 St. Peter describes him as the rejected cornerstone: “…by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, by him this man is standing before you well. This is the stone which was rejected by you builders, but which has become the cornerstone. And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”Human rejection does not affect divine acceptance. Instead the more we are rejected by our fellow human beings the more we are accepted and even promoted by the Most High God. Child of God, no matter the level of hatred, rejection and even persecutions that may come your way, remember the Lord God will never forsake you (Isaiah 49:15). The more they attack the more He will defend you and the more they try to pull you down the more He will uplift you. and it shall be well with you in Jesus name – Amen!

Christology: Jesus, the Door of the Sheep
In the gospel of John 14:6 our Lord Jesus Christ introduced himself as the Way, the Truth and the Life. Also in John 10:1-10 he declares, “Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. All who came before me are thieves and robbers; but the sheep did not heed them. I am the door; if any one enters by me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.”Jesus is indeed the only Way that leads to heaven. He is the door through which we can enter into heaven. He is the only door that leads to salvation. Through this Door we can encounter God. It is only through him that we can gain our freedom. With him we are sure of abundant life. To him be glory and praise both now and forevermore – Amen!

Inspirational Message: There are so many ways; but there is only one way that leads to heaven. Jesus Christ is the way that leads to heaven

Prayer for Open Doors: Heavenly Father, our Lord Jesus Christ revealed himself as the only door that leads to heaven. He is also the door to our breakthrough, the door to our success and indeed the door to our Salvation. Lord, you are the only One that can open the door of our lives. Grant us financial and spiritual open doors, through Christ our Lord – Amen!

Prophetic Message: The Lord will grant you Repentance unto life
The book of revelation 12 describes teh devil as the accuser of our brethren. The devil and his agents are busy bringing charges against children of God. But our Lord Jesus came that we may have life in abundance (John 10:10). In ACTS 11:1-18 the circumcised Jews were bringing charges against the uncircumcised, insisting that they must be circumcised. But Peter defended the uncircumcised. Nobody has the right to declare unclean what God has created. When the people heard this they were silenced. And they glorified God, saying, “Then to the Gentiles also God has granted repentance unto life.” Child of God, the Lord will not allow anybody to condemn you. As long as you are ready to repent the Lord will surely forgive you. He will grant you repentance unto life and it shall be well with you in Jesus name – Amen!

Christology: Jesus, the Image of the Invisible God
St. Paul describes our Lord Jesus Christ as the Image of the Invisible: “He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.” (Col. 1:15). In the gospel of John 10:22-30 our Lord Jesus Christ highlights his relationship with God the Father: 1. The works that I do in my Father’s name, they bear witness to me 2. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all 3. no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand. 4. I and the Father are one.” Our Lord Jesus Christ one with God the Father. He is the second person of the Blessed Trinity, the image of God the Father. To him be glory and praise both now and forevermore – Amen!

Inspirational Message: The Father and the Son are One. To have seen the Son is to have seen the Father.

Prayer for Fathers: Heavenly Father, your Son, revealed your glory to the world as a Merciful Father. He even revealed his relation with you, His Father. Lord, we pray for fathers all over the world. Bless our fathers and may you use them to safeguard our families through Christ our Lord – Amen!

Prophetic Message: By your Fruit you shall be known
Action speaks louder than words. People are known by the fruits they produce and not even by whom they claim to be. The early disciples got their title as Christians by their way and manner of life. In Acts 11:19-26 “Barnabas went to Tarsus to look for Saul; and when he had found him, he brought him to Antioch. For a whole year they met with the Church, and taught a large company of people; and in Antioch the disciples were for the first time called Christians.” The term Christian simply means followers of Christ. People of Antioch saw the early disciples living the same life of Christ they gave them the title Christian. Child of God, as you make your bed so shall you lay on it. The more fruitful you are the more your identity will be defined. And it shall be well with you in Jesus name – Amen!

Christology: Jesus, the Great Commissioner
There are so many commissioners in the world but there is One ultimate Commissioner. He is the greatest Commissioner the world has ever known. He is the Commissioner of commissioners and the Master of masters. In the gospel of MARK 16:15-20 “Jesus commissioned his disciples, saying, “Go into all the world and proclaim the good news to the whole creation. The one who believes and is baptized will be saved; but the one who does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will accompany those who believe: by using my name they will cast out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up snakes in their hands, and if they drink any deadly thing, it will not hurt them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will recover.” This is exactly what happened at the beautiful gate in Acts chapter 3. All the people that our Lord Jesus Christ commissioned in the bible were people with divine power. Jesus gave them the power to preach the gospel, the power to heal and deliver people from bondage and above all, the power to inherit the kingdom of heaven. With this power the impossible were made possible. Child of God, as you receive your commission through our Lord Jesus Christ may God empower you and may His name be glorified forever in Jesus name – Amen!

Inspirational Message: There are so many commissioners in the world but our Lord Jesus Christ is the One and only Great Commissioner. He is the Commissioner of commissioners.

Prayer for Commissioners: Lord Jesus Christ, you are the Commissioner of commissioners and the Governor or governors. You empowered and commissioned your disciples to carry out your mission. Lord, we have so many commissioners in the world today. Most of them may not even know the essence of their mission – That they are called not only to commission unfinished projects but also to commission their fellow human beings, especially the unemployed youths. Bless our society with good and God fearing commissioners. Grant this through Christ our Lord – Amen!

Prophetic Message: You shall be Exalted
Humility is the path of exaltation. Our Lord Jesus Christ told his followers, whoever humbles himself will be exalted. In 1 Peter 5:5-14, St. Peter wrote, Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, so that he may exalt you in due time.” Child of God, if you humble yourself the Lord will surely exalt you. At the due time He will raise you up to a higher level in life. You will be promoted and it shall be well with you in Jesus name – Amen!

Christology: Jesus, the Humble Master
Among all the masters we have in the world today Jesus remains the most humble Master. After washing the feet of his disciples he said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, a servant is not greater than his master;
nor is he who is sent greater than he who sent him. If you know these things, blessed are you if you do them.” Child of God, if you humble yourself the Lord will surely exalt you and it shall be well with you in Jesus name – Amen!

Inspirational Message: Humility is the surest way to success.

Prayer for Humility: Lord Jesus Christ, you are the most humble Man in the world. Lord make me humble as you are humble!

Prophetic Message: you are Destined for Greatness
Children of God are destined for greatness. In ACTS 13:13-25 St. Paul said to the Israelites, “Men of Israel, and you that fear God, listen. ’The God of this people Israel chose our fathers and made the people great during their stay in the land of Egypt, and with uplifted arm he led them out of it.” as long as God is concerned the Israelites are the most favoured nation on earth. Their greatness comes directly from God. Child of God, do you know that you destined for greatness. As long as you are connected with God, you shall be great among the greatest. And it shall be well with you in Jesus name – Amen!
