“We awarded cash prizes for the Business Success Scorecard Challenge to encourage business owners to continually improve their ventures based on a scorecard approach, which leads to stronger and more sustainable businesses. This second edition of the event builds upon the success of the first one,” she remarked.

The event focused on building partnerships, learning about marketing trends, accessing business support, and providing mentorship opportunities to the participants.

Isimeme Whyte, the founder of Genius Hub Global and a guest at the program, stressed the power of networking in business expansion. He emphasized that business owners should equip themselves to handle setbacks and challenges, ensuring they strike a balance between their business and personal life.

“As a business owner, you need to be emotionally resilient and act as the primary marketer of your product, goods, or services. Networking plays a pivotal role in expanding businesses. By adhering to best practices, paying taxes, identifying with the eco-system, and emphasizing the value of your products and services, you can ensure the sustainability of your business and develop a business continuity plan,” Whyte advised.

One of the standout participants, Kawekwune Ihedimma, achieved an impressive score of 350 points and secured the first position in the Edojobs Chairman’s Award. She was awarded a cash prize of N500,000, which she expressed gratitude for and intends to invest in further improving her business.
