One of Rohr’s trusted defenders, Olivier Verdon will be unavailable for the fixtures against Nigeria and Libya due to injury.

The centre-back’s absence will be a big blow to the team’s quest to secure a favourable result in the two games.

Nonetheless, Rohr will look to shape up his defence line very well. The Squirrels of Benin already defeated Nigeria in June this year, although, in the absence of Verdon, and they would look to draw inspiration from that. However, it won’t be an easy one.

Rohr’s Cheetahs will have an extra motivation going into the game as a win could all but see them through to Morocco 2025.
